In 1997 Ms. Storm founded Storm Partners, LLC, New York to Own and Develop Retail Projects for its own account. In addition, she serves as a Retail Acquisition and Development Advisor to hedge funds, private equity, retailers, financial institutions and developers lacking retail expertise (value enhancement potential or execution capability). Under the umbrella of Storm Partners, she has transformed, curated, or reimagined hundreds of retail properties across the United States. Her extensive client list includes Credit Suisse, TPG Real Estate Finance, Starwood Capital, Avalon Bay, Square Mile Capital, New England Patriots, Orient Express Hotels, Polo Ralph Lauren, KeyBank, Prudential Real Estate and more!

Separately, Ms. Storm joined Wheelock Street Capital, a private equity real estate investment as a principal, responsible for Wheelock’s Retail Investment Vertical. As the head of retail investment efforts, Ms. Storm focused on fostering relationships with best in class operating partners and platforms as well as sourcing direct investments.

Prior to Sony, Ms. Storm was President of The Kaplan Group, Newton, MA. At the Kaplan Group, Ms. Storm merchandised, leased and managed the 23 million sf New England Development Shopping Center Portfolio consisting of 20 super regional malls including the CambridgeSide Galleria. Thereafter fourteen of these properties were then sold for $1.7 billion to Simon Property Group.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Storm spent 14 years at The Taubman Company, Bloomfield Hills, MI in acquisitions, development, leasing, marketing and operations. She successfully completed leadership assignments for Trophy Malls such as Beverly Center, Short Hills, Cherry Creek and Fair Oaks Malls. Also while at Taubman, she led real estate initiatives in mixed use: Belmond Charleston Place, Charleston, SC; Sotheby’s Offices, NY; and 712 Fifth Avenue, NY.

Ms Storm has numerous past and present professional affiliations including serving as Principal at Rosen Real Estate Securities in Berkeley, CA; Board of Directors, 42nd Street Development Corporation (Building for the Arts NY); Policy Advisory Board, Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics at University of California Berkeley; and lecturing at Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics.
